Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Plugin Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our talented development team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and building high-quality, scalable plugins, mentoring junior developers, and contributing innovative solutions that keep EchoaSoft at the forefront of the WordPress ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Plugin Development
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins from scratch, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Optimize plugins for speed, reliability, and user experience.
- Ensure all code adheres to clean coding standards and is optimized for scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by users or the support team.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Lead and mentor the development team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Collaborate with designers, support staff, and technical writers to ensure seamless product delivery and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance during project planning and roadmap discussions.
Innovation & Optimization
- Conduct research to implement cutting-edge features, ensuring our products remain ahead of market trends.
- Perform code reviews, security audits, and performance optimizations.
- Introduce automated testing frameworks to enhance code quality.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in WordPress plugin development with a proven portfolio.
- Expertise in PHP OOP, Namespaces, Traits, and Design Patterns.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress Actions/Hooks, APIs, and Gutenberg/Elementor/Divi block/Widget/module development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript with mandatory experience in ReactJS.
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Composer, and Gulp.
- Experience with WooCommerce, REST API integration, and custom post types.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHP Unit.
- Contributions to WordPress Core or similar open-source projects.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for plugin deployment.
- Advanced understanding of WordPress Core contribution processes.
Job Details
- Location: Nikunja-2, Dhaka
- Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
- Office Hours: Sunday – Thursday (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- Salary: 80,000 – 1,20,000 BDT per month (based on experience and expertise)
