Position Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and proactive WordPress QA Engineer Intern. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and the QA team to test plugins, identify issues, and ensure a smooth user experience across Divi, Gutenberg, and WordPress environments. This is a hands-on internship where you’ll learn real QA workflows, feature testing, bug reproduction, regression testing, and compatibility testing; while contributing directly to product reliability and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Test WordPress, Divi, and Gutenberg-based plugins across different environments
- Perform functional, usability, and regression testing
- Assist in beta testing for new updates and Divi 5 compatibility
- Validate UI/UX behavior inside Divi Builder, Gutenberg, and frontend
- Reproduce bugs with proper steps, screenshots, or screen recordings
- Log issues with severity, expected vs. actual results
- Re-test fixes after developers resolve them
- Monitor demo sites and report visible issues
- Maintain structured test logs and update task status
- Learn and apply QA workflows (functional, regression, compatibility)
- Learn to use browser DevTools for basic debugging
We don’t expect you to know everything; but we expect curiosity, consistency, and willingness to learn.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Current student or recent graduate in CSE, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of WordPress (themes/plugins); Divi is a plus
- Basic HTML & CSS knowledge; JavaScript/jQuery is a bonus
- Understanding of basic QA concepts (test cases, bug reporting, workflows)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Clear communication skills and eagerness to learn
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with browser developer tools (Inspect, Console)
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Trello, or Notion
- Exposure to beta testing or WordPress troubleshooting
- Interest in Divi, Gutenberg, plugin development
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Job Details
- Location: Nikunja-2, Dhaka
- Job Type: Internship (On-Site)
- Office Hours: Sunday – Thursday (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- Duration: 6 months
- Stipend: 10,000 BDT per month
- Full-Time Opportunity: High-performing interns may be offered a full-time role
