Position Overview
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer (Mid-Level) with 2–4 years of experience to join our design team. We want someone who is highly creative and visually strong — a designer with a deep understanding of modern UI design, clean layout thinking, and a sharp eye for what makes a design feel polished and current.
In this role, you will work under a Lead Designer and contribute across three core areas: marketing website design, Divi and Gutenberg demo template design, and product dashboard UI. Your designs will be seen by hundreds of thousands of users across our product brands.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks in both aesthetics and outcomes — who can balance visual craft with usability, and deliver work that is engaging, consistent, and conversion-focused. We expect you to use AI tools as a natural part of your workflow — to move faster, explore more ideas, and raise the quality bar, not to replace creative thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Marketing Design
- Design product landing pages, feature pages, pricing sections, and homepages that are visually compelling, on-trend, and built to convert
- Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and color theory to ensure every page communicates clearly and looks sharp
- Create web banners, email templates, and other marketing assets when needed
- Contribute to a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all EchoaSoft product brands
Demo & Template Design
- Design complete, full-fidelity Divi and Gutenberg demo layouts that showcase product features in realistic, varied use cases
- Build modern template concepts with trendy interactions, strong visual hierarchy, and clean white space — covering niches like business, portfolio, agency, and e-commerce
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and site maps where needed to effectively communicate layout and interaction ideas
- Ensure every template is production-ready: responsive, scalable, and aligned with current web design standards
- Contribute to a growing library of reusable design patterns and layout components
Product & Dashboard UI
- Design plugin dashboards, settings panels, and admin interfaces with a strong focus on usability, clarity, and visual quality
- Visualize complex product requirements and translate them into simple, intuitive, and functional design solutions
- Generate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design intent to developers
- Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation and flag deviations during handoff and QA
- Contribute to and maintain a shared design system and reusable component library
Collaboration & Process
- Work directly with the Lead Designer on creative direction, feedback cycles, and quality standards
- Collaborate with product, development, and content teams across cross-functional projects
- Apply and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards consistently across all products and platforms
- Participate in design reviews, present your rationale clearly, and be open to feedback and constructive criticism
- Use AI tools actively in your day-to-day workflow — for ideation, image generation, copywriting assistance, design variations, and speeding up repetitive tasks
- Manage your own task queue, communicate progress proactively, and meet deadlines consistently
- Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and AI developments in the design space — and bring relevant ideas to the team
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 2–4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design
- A strong portfolio showcasing modern UI designs — especially web layouts, landing pages, or product interfaces. A portfolio is required to apply
- Proficiency in Figma (our primary design tool)
- Excellent understanding of color, shapes, white space, and visual hierarchy
- Deep understanding of typography, layout systems, and interaction design principles
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into simple, intuitive, and functional designs
- Solid understanding of user-centered design and usability principles
- Experience designing responsive, scalable interfaces for desktop and web
- Working knowledge of AI tools in a design context — you use them regularly and know where they help and where they don’t
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail — ensuring consistent, high-quality output in every deliverable
- Strong communication and presentation skills — able to clearly articulate design decisions to teammates and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience designing for WordPress plugins, themes, or page builders (Divi or Gutenberg preferred)
- Experience with CMS platforms or web template ecosystems
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS — enough to communicate effectively with developers
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and token-based styling
- Hands-on experience with AI design tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Galileo AI, Framer AI, or similar
- Experience using AI for rapid prototyping, layout ideation, image generation, or design asset creation
- Experience conducting user research or usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs
- Basic understanding of conversion-focused design and UX writing
Job Details
- Location: Nikunja-2, Dhaka
- Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
- Office Hours: Sunday – Thursday (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- Salary: 40,000 – 60,000 BDT per month (based on experience and expertise)
