About the Role
This is a hybrid role that combines Quality Assurance and Frontend Design. We're looking for someone who can work as a QA to test our plugins and features, work with the development team to validate implementations before release, and take a design from Figma and build it in WordPress using modern page builders. The ideal candidate enjoys building, testing, researching, and collaborating to deliver high-quality WordPress products.
Key Responsibilities
Real-World QA and Release Support
- Test our plugins the way a real user would: building actual pages, trying real layouts, and pushing features until they break, across Divi and, where relevant, Gutenberg and WooCommerce.
- Design and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, usability, performance, compatibility, and security testing.
- Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive/pixel-level testing across WordPress versions and environments.
- Debug using browser DevTools, WordPress debug logs, and REST API responses to help isolate root causes.
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports with annotated screenshots or video walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and confirm no regressions are introduced.
Live Website Design & Layout Development
- Convert Figma designs into complete, pixel-accurate WordPress pages using builders such as Divi, Gutenberg, Elementor, WooCommerce, and other page builders.
- Work on live website design and layout builds on demand for our users, using our own products (DiviFlash, DiviMotion, DiviGear, RioVizual).
- Use modern AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to speed up this work.
- Handle website migrations, backups, and hosting/server-related work across platforms such as Hostinger, InstaWP, Vultr, or similar.
Research & Process Support
- Research and evaluate similar WordPress plugins and themes to understand how features are implemented, compare user experiences, and validate the quality of our own products.
- Partner with technical writers and content creators to verify docs, how-to content, and tutorials match product behavior.
- Participate in feature planning and requirement discussions to help ensure testability.
We don't expect you to know everything; but we expect curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to learn.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience building or customizing WordPress websites/plugins using Divi, Gutenberg, Elementor, WooCommerce, or similar.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into complete, pixel-accurate WordPress pages.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, including plugins, themes, Meta Fields, Taxonomies, AJAX, and overall WordPress architecture.
- Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience managing WordPress websites and hosting environments (staging/production), including migrations and backups — platforms such as Hostinger, InstaWP, Vultr, or similar.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar for research, documentation, testing, and productivity.
- Experience with performance testing tools: Lighthouse, GTmetrix, or WebPageTest.
- Ability to write structured, reproducible bug reports with annotated screenshots or video recordings.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Job Details
- Location: Nikunja-2, Dhaka
- Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
- Office Hours: Sunday – Thursday (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- Salary: 25,000 – 40,000 BDT per month (based on experience and expertise)
